Dorcas Circle
The Dorcas Circle is a group that makes quilts for Lutheran
World Relief which distributes them to refugees and other people in need.An LWR quilt might bring warmth on a cold
night, shelter from the sun on a hot day or it may become a bed, a room divider,
a backpack to carry belongings, and at times even a home. Our Dorcus Circle has made and dedicated 180
quilts this year to be sent to many countries around the world.
Dorcus Circle meets on the 1st and 3rd
Mondays of every month. If you are able
to cut with scissors, tie knots, pin one piece of fabric to another or sew,
please join us as we spread God's warmth to others around the world.
The ladies that help make these beautiful quilts are: Hazel Connelly, Diane Samples, Carolyn Tabanelli, Jolene Condra, Pat Hanson, Barbara Schwanebeck, Cynthia Henry, and Doris Beyers.
